Once again, we are fortunate to have the Powell Theatre as the venue for the Sherborne International Film Festival 2010.
The theatre has raked seating and a capacity for 200 people. It also features the latest digital projection facilities onto a large screen – so there is no difficulty in following sub-titles. The sound is very good. So – a delightful venue for watching films at their very best.
Catering
The Powell Theatre also allows us to run a bar and there is an interesting menu of snacks and small dishes at your disposal. No need to run home between films as you can enjoy a cheese plate or a pork pie, an open salmon sandwich or some pate. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a piece of cake or try a glass of wine with some olives or mixed nuts.
